MyDay

Your life on your phone. Not in someone else’s cloud.

MyDay is built on a simple idea: nobody but you needs to know about your health, your money and your documents. That is why version 1.0 has no account, no server and no ads.

  1. What stays on your phone

Everything you enter: tasks, expenses, loans, medication, measurements, notes, photos and document scans. We store it in a database on your device. We send it to no server of ours — there is none.

  2. The only thing that goes online

The weather request. It goes to Open-Meteo with coordinates rounded to about a kilometre and no device identifier. Without location permission, there is simply no weather.

  3. Backup to your own Google Drive — if you want

One switch turns on automatic backup of your data and photos to a hidden MyDay folder in your Google Drive. It is encrypted on your phone before it leaves — Google only sees ciphertext, and only you hold the key (your phone + recovery code). It never passes through our server, and MyDay cannot see your other files. Prefer no cloud? Back up to a file with one button.

  4. PIN and fingerprint

Your PIN is never stored as such — the phone’s system vault holds only a hash. After several wrong attempts you have to wait longer and longer. Android checks the fingerprint; MyDay only gets “yes” or “no”.

  5. No ads, no analytics

There is no advertising or tracking SDK in the app. We do not know when you open MyDay or what you type into it.
